About U.G. Subject Committee

The Subject Committees for Undergraduate Graduate (UG) Programs are responsible for various academic functions related to UG programs:

1. Each UG (Undergraduate) Program has one Subject Committee, which consists of a minimum of five members. These members are nominated by the Vice-Chancellor, with one member serving as the Chairperson.
2. The term of office for each member of the Subject Committee is two years, unless otherwise specified by notification.
3. Functions:
   • The Subject Committee is responsible for creating and updating the curriculum or syllabus for the respective UG program.
   • They prepare panel of Councilors, Paper Setters, and Examiners. These individuals play crucial roles in the academic and examination processes.
   • The Subject Committee is involved in the organization and oversight of undergraduate examinations.

These Subject Committees are important bodies in academic institutions as they play a key role in shaping the curriculum and ensuring the quality and integrity of the examination process for undergraduate programs.
